Dude, where's my stuff?

This email which I sent this morning says it all:

Subject: Air Shipment Issues

It is now after noon, 29 June 2010 in India. That is 3:00 AM Detroit time, 29 June 2010. My air shipment is still not in Chennai. Multi Moving in India believes the shipment is in Saudi Arabia and says Palmer must instruct the people there to ship our goods; MMS cannot act until the goods are in the Chennai airport.

Will you please speak to the proper people at the airport in Saudi Arabia to
. confirm that they have my shipment in their hand
. instruct them to put it on a plane to Chennai today

Please do not rely on email - there have been too many communication problems when using email in this situation. Please make phone calls and use translators as required to ensure we know exactly where my goods are and what flight they will be loaded to.

If my goods are not visually confirmed at the Chennai airport by noon, 30 June 2010 in India (2:30 AM Detroit time, 30 Jun 2010), I will consider the shipment lost. At that time I will expect from Palmer:
. immediate reimbursement for the full value of the shipment so that we may purchase replacements in the US
. shipment of the replacements from Detroit to Chennai via Lufthansa on 2 July 2010 to arrive in Chennai by 3:00 AM Detroit time on 4 July 2010
